Tools of the GEOgrapher
Remember that Geo- means earth or ground? A Geographer studies the earth and geography is the written study of the earth. To study the earth there are many tools. Maps and globes are two tools that are great for studying history. Maps are 2-D representations of the world and globes are 3-D. Maps have evolved over the course of history by the use of satellites and technology, which have improve accuracy and access to all kinds of maps!
